Profile Description

I wish to express my intent to apply for a position of project management staff.
I am aware that organization offers many opportunities in the field of project management and community development.
I also feel I have much to offer to your organization in terms of skills I have gained in my previous work experiences.
Over the last 16 years, I have been working on various capacities around project management, emergency response, peace building and community development.
I’ve been working as Community Organizer for Indigenous People, Agrarian Reform and Cooperative Development; Area Development Manager for Sustainable Integrated Area Development; Local Governance Specialist, and my last employment as Program Manager of Lutheran World Relief Philippines.
As Program Manager, I am responsible for the successful delivery of relief and development programs, lead the preparation and development of proposals, partner accompaniment, and deriving lessons learned from projects.
Also ensure that all projects are being implemented in accordance with the contractual obligations and meet the highest standard of implementation.
Through these, I have developed relevant technical skills, love and passion in the pursuit of relief, peace building and community development.
I have also felt a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment while working with the poorest amongst the poor in the community.
I am confident that my experience will prove valuable as I apply the position of Livelihood Coordinator.
In addition to my experience, I have worked as project evaluator, and technical resource person where I gained experience at communicating effectively, developing partnerships with wide variety of individual and development group clients from diverse backgrounds.
Working with your organization would provide me with the best possible opportunities and exposure in livelihood coordination work to effect change in typhoon affected communities.
Such work would allow me to apply my skills obtained from work experience over the last 16 years and really make a difference in peoples’ lives while bringing an enthusiastic and fresh perspective to your organization.
