I started working in January 2010 as an Auditor in one of the biggest doughnut outlet here in the Philippines. My job there was to perform count on the petty cash funds, check internal controls, and actual count of cash from the start to the end of the operating hours of the stores within the Philippines. Also, prepare audit reports to be sent to the top management. I left the company because of health reasons, most of my work is in the field which affected my health, so I decided to leave.
I landed on a job in IBM Business Services as a Fixed Assets Accountant for a milk company based in US. I was managing the Fixed Assets as well as the assets under construction for the company. Compute depreciation expenses during month-end and provide reconciliation of accounts. I was also the back-up for the General Ledger team in which I helped post journal entries for accruals and adjustments. Accruals like salaries payable, loans payable, notes payable. I have also done accruals for the receivables of the company. I stayed in IBM from June 2010 to September 2011. I decided to leave as I wanted a more challenging job.
I found a job as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor in a BPO industry. I handled the cash postings, cash applications, Service Level Agreement Reports, credit memo and invoice manual creations, escalations with the customers, queries, and other needed tasks in the Accounts Receivable team. I recently resigned because now I need a job where I can stay at home and have more time with my family.
