I am a Philippine Licensed Nurse since 2009. My first job was a Teaching job. Right after I got my license, I began working as a lecturer in a Review Center for Nurses who were about to take the Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam. Here, my communication and relational skills we're developed. I got used to talk and deliver lecture to large number of students and counsel them one by one as well regarding their anxieties in relation to the upcoming exam they are going to take. My marketing skills were also polished since I was also tasked to promote the review center by talking and convincing
the deans of the different colleges and universities to have their students enrolled to us for review. After a year, I have been offered to train as a Dialysis Nurse so that I will be able to gain a hospital experience. My communication and nursing skills have been really developed through out the entire experience. I was then called to participate in a research and project team of the Supply Chain Management at Makati Medical Center. I worked there as a Project Analyst. I have polished may computer skills here since the job was mostly clerical and I was lucky enough to work with IT specialists who were not selfish in sharing their knowledge to me. After finishing the project, I finally got the chance to work in my own field which is a hospital nurse. Aside from the different nursing skills, I also have developed much of my personality. I learned to be more responsible, to persevere and to take every task with a heart. My time with my family has been compromised that's why I decided not to renew my year contract and want to try to work at home through on line jobs. I know that my experiences gained
at the different fields like in he academe, office and hospital will also be of great help to clients online.
“There are just so many skills that the Filipino market has that they bring to the table. It's been amazing.”
