I am a conscientious, goal-driven and passionate worker who is results-oriented and has a deep commitment to serve.
Being hired as a College Instructor right after graduation and assigned various administrative/leadership roles such as Coordinator of the Student Government of the College of Teacher Education and Coordinator of the College Reading Center while taking my Masters Degree and doing outreach activities have taught me how to manage my time effectively. After one and a half years, I was given the opportunity to work at the premier government office in the Philippines where I was empowered to do administrative tasks and act on various requests for travel authority from different government agencies. After 2 years, I was promoted and transferred to another Department (where I am currently assigned) where I handle various tasks both confidential and of national interest. As a government employee, I have worked and coordinated with high ranking officials of the government as well as heads of various agencies.
Aside from my current job as a government employee, after office hours, I teach at the No. 1 English Online School in Japan. I have been employed here for almost a year now. I have taught various students from beginners to advanced students. I teach from the basics of the English language to the more advanced lessons such as review for TOEIC and TOEFEL Examinations as well as prepare students for job interviews. Modesty aside, I have been receiving high ratings from my students and many bookmarks for my classes.
Teaching online have honed my speaking, writing and multi-tasking skills more since I get to interact with people from another country and teach them the English language based upon their need and skill level.
I can say that my work attitude in addition to my proficiency in the English language, ability to manage my time effectively and people skills are my tools to effectively accomplish tasks assigned to me. Moreover, my passion and commitment to be of service as well as my desire to learn more and broaden my knowledge on various fields, are what propels me to be open to every opportunity that comes my way and see every task/job given to me as a great honor and opportunity for me to serve, hence my commitment to do the best I can and even transcend what I think I can do every time.
