I am familiar with FTP and website creation as I was a Technical Support Representative for a webhosting company. I have installed Wordpress, dealt with databases (a bit), I can't really say that I'm an expert with databases, but it was part of our scope of support.
I could work around basic HTML codes quite a bit.
