Way back in college, I started my first official writing experience as a Writer in the Technologian Student Press - our school's official student publication. I was promoted to an editorial position then.
After college, I worked in a call center industry for a large US telecommunication account for three (3) years where it helped me improve my communication skills.
Currently, I am working part-time as an online English teacher.
I have work experience in marketing communications in a tourism related business. I ensured that all marketing related projects are thoroughly executed such as participation in expos, conferences, festivals, events, media promotions and other gimmicks to ensure high sales and company exposure.
Theoretically, I first learned about Project Management (PM) as a subject in school. In college, PM was a helpful method in coordinating school events that I lead to be within scope, time and budget. Continuing this passion for PM challenges, I worked as a Project Leader in a high technology company for 4+ years. Also, last January 2013, I was officially certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.
I also worked as a Technical Assistant to the Site Director wherein my responsibilities include preparing financial (with cost analysis) and operation updates in a form of business report and assisting in the Site Director's meetings to ensure best practices are applied, identifies the need for and assists in establishing additional cross-functional liaisons.
