I am a professional chef for about six years now, I started of as a dishwasher, and worked my way up the ladder to reach the consultant status. As a consultant, my job entails me to basically assess the situation or the company in which areas they would need improvement or they would need my expertise, after which comes the menu development stage in which I do research and development of menu items and have it approved for the President/ CEO of the company. Once it has been approved, next comes the training/ selection stage, from which, I select a crew for the said restaurant/project and I roll out the approved menu and train both kitchen and front of the house for it. After training has been done, I oversee that they all play their integral part in maintaining the standards that I have set and make sure it is executed with the utmost perfection.
