Profile Description

Being a classroom teacher for several years, I have developed a keen eye for detail, as well as a tactful and dignified approach to dealing with people. Apart from the people skills that I possess, I am also adept in using the computer, being proficient in both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. I am well-acquainted with desktop publishing and basic video editing using MS Publisher, iWork's Pages and iMovie. I am also very comfortable with Adobe PDF in consolidating files, converting documents and filling out forms, among other tasks.
Being an online shopper myself, researching in the internet has almost become part of my daily routine. Reading product reviews from various blogs, considering comments from customers, are a couple of my prerequisites before deciding on an item. My experience online vary from purchasing airline tickets to processing visa applications, booking hotels, online banking and of course, social networking.
Video chat using Skype, Yahoo Messenger, and MSN Messenger is also not a problem for I have experienced teaching foreign students online using these and other similar tools.
With these qualifications, I am certain that I will not have difficulty adjusting to the responsibilities demanded from that of a rock star virtual assistant.
