Few of the skills that I possess which would be relevant in this job are:
Critical Thinking - I don't just rely on what is being presented to me. Instead, I use that as a tool in deteirmining what lies beneath.
This allows you to solve complex problems as well. Identifying a problem and taking time to know the root cause helps you analyze how to resolve an issue. This applies in all aspects of support that one can offer.
Customer Service - Customer Service is my first love. I am passionate on analyzing a situation and handle it. Empathize should always come in handy as it would make your customer feel that you are of their same wavelength. Listen actively, acknowledge and explain. Manner on how you explain things should depend on your customer's personality, tone of voice or mood.
Appointment Setting - I've worked as an outbound caller/Appointment setter for a Real Estate Agent based in Delaware and Virginia. I make it a point that leads get contacted few minutes after they've shown interest in a certain property and from there, I persuade them to meet with a client for a possible sale. This enhanced my ability to build rapport with customers and persuade them.
Sales and Marketing - I've been with several inbound accounts but all of them do up-selling which exposed me and taught me basics on selling. I've also been exposed to Internet Marketing which makes me knowledgeable on how search engine works, getting listed on top of search engine results, posting ads in online classified and other relevant stuffs.
