Being a Virtual Assistant requires a lot of skills. But for those days that I worked as a Virtual Assistant I developed a lot of skills and I am still willing to develop those skills for the better.
One of the skills that I have as a Virtual Assistant is my DATA ENTRY SKILLS which include typing and entering data into forms, editing current information, proofreading text and updating databases. I also have skills in DESKTOP PUBLISHING like for creating books, brochures, business cards, calendars, envelops, letterheads, logos, magazines, menus, name tags, newsletters, postcards, price lists and even websites by the use of MS Word and MS Publishing. I am also confident that I have a GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILL. Working as an online ESL Teacher for 6 months already, I believe I have and I developed my English skills. From listening, speaking, writing and also my vocabulary are good. My TYPING SKILLS are also great that I sometimes need to take my client's audio content and type it into a written document. I also became MORE ORGANIZED in my work. I believe that good organizational skills are also important because I
may be working on several different projects for several different clients all at the same time. So, in order that my work will go smoothly, I have developed my ORGANIZATION SKILLS.
