I have been in the BPO industry for 5 years now. I've done market research for both Business to Consumer and Business to Business campaigns. I've also done Lead Generation and Appointment Setting for commercial services campaigns such as janitorial services, security agency services, and merchant solutions. We also had business process services like SEO, web design, and mobile web design providers. I was promoted to Quality Analyst for our department after two months of being an agent. During my time as a Quality Analyst, I was in direct contact with clients, building business strategies and conducting trainings with the calling agents to make sure that clients' expectations and smooth implementation go hand in hand. I also screened the calls and proofread all the leads submitted by the agents before forwarding them to our clients. I did training and coaching with agents on a daily basis to ensure further improvement, especially on their communication skills. I was also involved in interviewing applicants to make sure that the people we hire would be people who have the potential to make it on the call floor. After the hiring process, I worked with the trainer from evaluation of the progress of new hires to facilitating their endorsement to the floor.
When I had to relocate, I became a Customer Service/Technical Support Representative for a cable, phone, and internet client. However, I found that outbound is my true love and now I have a homebased job that deals with market research specializing in reviews for senior care facilities in the US.
