Profile Description

As a communication student, I have been trained to write different literary compositions, from writing a news article to creating a short story and I can say that I am well acquainted with Microsoft Office(Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and a little of Adobe InDesign since these are the tools that I often use. I have produced, directed and edited a short film as an entry for the school’s film festival. Because of this, I have become quite familiar with softwares like Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas. I am fond of taking pictures and use Adobe Photoshop and other editing softwares in editing photographs. As an active netizen, I use most of my free time on reading ebooks, on surfing the web and on social medias like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube, Instagram and etc.
Ever since my high school and elementary days I have been a religious participant of essay writing contests and had attended broadcasting and journalism press conferences in and outside the province. I have been one of the efficient writers of our school’s publication. I am often times selected to be speaker in class discussions and sometimes church mass. There were times when I get to emcee different culminating activities in town.
After graduating high school I had been given the chance to avail the Job Employment for Students program of the local government. We were asked to conduct city wide census. One summer of college, I had the opportunity to be employed by an NGO for a 10-day job. The job was also conducting survey about tuberculosis awareness, but this time it covers the entire province. I have improved a lot of my communication skills because of these jobs since it deal with conversing with people from different walks of life.
I am an ambitious person and I strive hard to reach my goals. I may not know everything yet, but I am eager to learn. As early as now I want to utilize the skills that I have obtained to finance my studies and to lessen the family’s burden as well, and at the same time prepare myself to the corporate world, by seeking for employment. I believe that this job opening is the opportunity that I have been looking for.
