Although I wasn't able to finish my course in Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, I was lucky enough to find and held 2 long jobs. I worked as a personal tutor to a number of elementary and highschool students. My former job as a tutor involves helping students with their assignments and review for their quizzes and exams. I think the most challenging thing that I did was to make things more interesting for the students
to appreciate their school work. After four years working as a freelance tutor, I was offered to work as an administrative assistant to then a newly constructed gas station. For six years, I consider myself as a Jane of all trade in my work place. I do training for customer service crew, hire and fire crews and staff, and all the other things that involves the crew in the station. I also do the cash counts and prepare them for the bank pick up, I am also familiar with the Microsoft office because i prepare the reports from the accounting department. I can work independently but I am also a team player. Instead of shying away from unfamiliar tasks, I treat as a challenge to learn the said task and learn to appreciate it in order to make the task interesting.
