Career span of approximately 24 years within the Chemical, Petrochemical and Food manufacturing industries, spanning across the areas of Operations, Production Planning, Safety, Emergency Response, Training and Human Resource functions, of which on several occasions, had the opportunities / exposures to overseas technological transfer experiences / training for grassroots Plant commissioning, start-up and operational activities.
Throughout these working experiences, have actively participated and been involved with Process design (punchlist walkdown, Installation and Operational Qualification, HAZOP and PSSR), Process Control (FAT and SAT activities of DCS, PLC and SCADA systems), Process Operations (pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance and commercial run), Quality Assurance (close liaison and coordination with QA to ensure Product conformity to product specifications through scheduled samplings and process control adjustments), Productivity Enhancements (alarm management, advanced process control, close monitoring via OS-PI) and Environmental Protection (conformity to set Guidelines of environmental protection against pollution and uncontrolled discharges through daily samplings, alarm management, etc).
Have received formal training on supervision / man-management philosophy (e.g. 7-Habits, What Matters Most, Assertive Supervision, Train-the-Trainer, etc.), cGMP, HACCP, Safety and Emergency Response. I am proficient in SPC and other process enhancement tools (e.g. OS-PI, Advanced Process Control, etc.) and have participated in numerous Six Sigma and ISO initiatives. In possession of a valid forklift license and is highly competent operating the DCS (e.g. Honeywell, Yokogawa, etc), SCADA and PLC operating systems.
