Profile Description

• Manages the efficient and cost effective releasing of all imported goods (indirect/indirect production materials, tools and equipments, spare parts and many others) from the Bureau of Customs and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as well as all dispatch of export products and timely flights and delivery to customers in different destinations globally.
• In collaboration with contracted customs brokers and forwarders, drives the development and execution of import/export guidelines and procedures and ensuring the company is compliant with government laws and regulations governing all import and export transactions.
• Responsible to oversee daily import/export/ operation of the company by supervising and providing directions to my team, brokers, forwarders to expedite smooth processing at the most cost-effective manner.
• Knowledge in PEZA and BOC Rules, Regulations, Systems and Procedures
• Monitors
status of shipments (inbound, outbound, local and domestic transactions) in coordination with the brokers and forwarders and airlines and shipping lines
• Communicate with the consignee
(local and abroad) that is
related to exportation matters
• Communicate with the shipper
regarding importation matters
• Negotiate with brokers/forwarders regarding quotations and other related matters
• Responsible in the preparation of various import and exports weekly, quarterly and annual reportorial requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments and sections with regards to Logistics matters
• Checks all broker’s/forwarder’s billing before endorsement for payment
• Performs various jobs assigned by the immediate superior
