Hired Full Time on Aug 22, 2013
I’ve been a Business English Tutor for two years. My tasks included teaching basic grammar lessons, discussing business articles and helping Japanese students review for their TOEIC and TOEFL exams. I was also assigned to proofread business e-mails and reports of my students who hold respectable positions in their companies.
I may not be a native speaker but I am confident that my English skills are above average.
I attended my first two years of college in the University of the Philippines, a prestigious school in the country. I have several experiences working with US-based BPO companies as a Customer Service Representative. With that said, understanding people with accents didn’t pose as a problem for me since I was able to talk to Americans on a regular basis.
I was also trained to speak like one.
I am fully equipped in handling administrative work like data entry, research, transcribing video and audio files.
I have a typing speed of 50wpm and I can also work with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google Docs.
I believe that I have strong work ethics and can deliver the project in a timely manner. For me, procrastinating would mean time and money lost.
Paying attention to details is also an important factor to achieve the client’s desired outcome.
As a person, I am honest and easy to get along with.
I look forward to working with you in the near future.
Best Regards,
Sheila
