I've been in the BPO industry for over five years now.
I have worked with two of the leading BPO centers here in the Philippines who developed my innate customer service skills. Being with Genpact and handling a US-Based Collections Account such as GE Money Services made me more competitive in terms of managing and exceeding our performance metrics while dealing with mostly irate customers abroad.
Our job as the Payments Receivables/Collections team gives us a bigger sense of responsibility regarding maintaining our customer's good credit standing by giving the best payment terms/options that the company has for them as our valued customers. Not only do we deal with accounts that are behind on their payments but we also help the company keep these loyal customers by offering our retention/settlement programs to help them get back on track. It was hard leaving the Genpact after over a year of a great employment.
I had to leave the company to visit my family abroad and stay there for 6 months. When I came back, I was immediately hired and now representing Convergys Alabang for their telecommunications account, AT&T.
I have celebrated my first year, July 2013 with the customer service department in our company. Our client is the leading telecommunication company in US, thus being part of it and being trained with the best training team in the country is already a privilege for me.
I left my job in Convergys to go back and improve my knowledge in Finance and now as a Frontline Associate in Synchrony Financial who is formerly known as GE Capital Retail Finance.
I'm also currently taking my certification in Financial Planning focusing on Taxation and Estate Planning. I will be an RFP by June 2015.
