Profile Description
I have worked as advocacy/campaigns officer and project manager for a humanitarian organization for eight years.
During those times, I also served as secretary to two national multi-sectoral coalitions that specialized on social justice campaigns. I have developed strong project management skills as well as ability to manage my time effectively because I assumed multi-tasking roles.
I am very well-rounded and have solid experience in preparing reports, writing and editing case studies, policy papers, and press releases, among others. I am a very competent events organizer since I coordinated for eight years regular capacity-building activities, media events, seminars and such other functions for my former employer. I have also managed to acquire several secretarial skills, such as presentation and packaging of reports, document management, calendar and docketing, transcription and speed typing, though probably not as fast as the professional typers. My online speed test scores at 55 wpm without typo errors. I am well-versed in all Microsoft Office programs and applications.
