I passed the Philippine Certified Public Accountant licensure examinations given in November 1984 (while working with RCBC) with an average of 81.71%.
As branch accountant of the bank RCBC, I was responsible in supervising and checking the outputs of the various bookkeepers and senior clerk of the branch, making sure that all the financial transactions and accounting entries as well as periodic financial reports are accurate.
As branch operations head, I had a greater responsibility overseeing the operations of the branch-
supervising the accounting unit and the branch accountant as well as the cashiering unit and the branch cashier.
As accountant of the Taif Shopping Center,
I set-up the accounting system of the supermarkets in coordination with the management and the various departments and units of the company.
As branch manager of the various banks, aside from ensuring smooth operations, my primary function was to solicit bank clients, depositors and borrowers alike, and see to the development and growth of the branch business.
I have a working knowledge of Excel and am sure can learn other automated accounting systems.
