From elementary to college, I graduated as an honor student. I am also the first cum laude of the course I have finished in our university. I am confident of the skills that I have. Here are things that I have done and they could be bases of the my skills. I won Best Thesis Paper awardee during Bukidnon State University’s University-Wide Students’ Research Competition 2013. My thesis title is "An Ecocritical Analysis on Green Poems". It is actually integrating literature with environmental care. Other than that writing experience, I have experienced proofreading, copyreading and editing other students' papers, provided feedback to students on their writing strengths, weaknesses and tendencies. During I was in high school, I experienced copyreading articles and writing headlines for "Likha", the secondary level school paper. In college, as an English major, I was trained in creative writing and business writing. I also joined interschool essay writing contests. I also have other experiences which will show other skills of mine. I have conducted survey, analyzed results, and wrote a report regarding communication points, reasons and appropriate medium to use in relaying messages; conducted a panel discussion about job interview; organized Spelling Bee in our college; and I have experienced being a Sound Director of one of the university’s play production. Since elementary, I have been actively involved in different school organizations and clubs. I am also proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Powerpoint and Excel. Self-motivation, creativity and willingness to learn are attributes that are inherent in my character and will allow me to make an effective contribution in your business.
