Right after I graduated from college, I was hired by one of the Philippine's largest shipping company as a bookkeeper at the billing section department. And then when I moved back to my hometown, I was hired as a bookkeeper also at the local shipping agency. After my second job, I was hired as a savings bookkeeper at a local bank which is my current employer to date since 1998. I have been working in this bank since then, and now currently holding the position as branch accountant. I am responsible for maintaining the subsidiary ledgers on savings and loan accounts, maintain bank reconciliations and my other responsibilities is to prepare daily financial reports to management.
