I have continuously sharpened my English Language proficiency skills specifically in the speaking, writing and reading categories by being an article writer, a virtual assistant and a personal assistant for sometime now.
My passion and forte is in interpersonal communication. I have learned therapeutic and professional communication skills and I am quick to comprehend, quick to analyze and find solutions and I am 100% dedicated to the job therefore, I'd really make a very good personal assistant or virtual assistant.
I am also more than happy to be tasked to come up with numerous articles pertaining to a wide range of interesting topics. The more challenging the topic would be, the more I find it interesting and the more that I would be motivated to come up with a great output. However, simple topics do interest me just as much.
I've worked as a Nurse educator at a prestigious university in our country from year 2005-2011 and has been appointed as the academic and research coordinator for a year. The knowledge and skills I developed from the said work experience were primary factors on which I have anchored my ability to become a competent online employee. I am remarkably skillful in using MS applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am well oriented with sending file attachments, uploading and downloading files and pictures. I am ardently praying to have jobs that allow me to broaden my knowledge as a personal assistant/virtual assistant as well as tasks involving social media marketing, creative writing, medical transcribing, data entry and keyword researching.
At the moment, I am looking for an employer who can guarantee me a long-term employment, or at least, one which lasts for a few months. The skills I have developed from working online and the knowledge I gained from accomplishing numerous tasks required of me, are assurances that I am qualified for the job. Moreover, the employer may expect me to be a hardworking, devoted, honest and respectful worker. On the other hand, I have high hopes of getting a job offer from a respectable and good-tempered employer who has both empathy and respect for me as his humble staff. I am hoping for an employer who can deliver instructions clearly and communicates with me from time to time in order for me to fulfill what is expected of me.
1. I will elaborately lay out my skills based on the International English Language Testing System. I have taken the IELTS language proficiency test twice. The first time was for my Immigrant visa application to the US back in 2005 right after I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Reflected below are my scores in each category:
Listening 9.0 (which is a perfect IELTS score, an assessment of having a fully operational command of the English language and considered as an expert user)
Reading 7.5 (this assessment is labeled as either a good to a very good user)
Writing & Speaking both 7.0 ( good user)

For my visa screen renewal, I retook IELTS with the ff. marks:

4. I love to read any intellectual reading materials that I could get my hands on. I spend countless hours reading articles on the internet regarding life, family, technological and medical advancements, political issues and so on and so forth, a skill which has enhanced and broadened my knowledge.

6. I have been an online entrepreneur for some time now, I am pretty good in selling products and advertising them online. Needless to say, I have developed great interpersonal skills.
7. I am capable of doing tons of research works and integrating them into my articles to make it very informative.
8. I am a registered nurse by profession and I have also a degree in Master of Arts in Nursing. I have worked as a nurse educator for 6 years and with hardwork and determination, I was promoted to an administrative position.
9. I am a team player and I can collaborate well with my superiors yet I can also work just as efficiently on my own. I am very resourceful and has good analytical thinking skills.
10. I am quite a workaholic. I am used to working 8-16 hours a day, five-six days a week by either doing lectures on Nursing major subjects or supervising students in the actual work setting.
