Profile Description

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines with a professional background spanning close to 13 years. Subject expertise are the following:

  *Financial Analysis and Reporting                                   
  *General Accounting Process
  *Payroll Accounting
  *Cost Accounting
  *Inventory Accounting

I have dealt with these areas in the context of leading a team of knowledgeable Accounting staff and liaising with key business suppliers and customers. 

I highly consider that my extensive exposure in SAP Business 1 - Database Accounting System can be a great premium for services that I can offer. I have been involved in designing the accounting structure and database set-up of our company.

I am currently working online as a Director for Finance and Accounting for a business in North Carolina handling SEC reporting, basically 10-Q and 10-K, and all that it needed for submission. My tasks are as follows:

 *assist in document preparation either through MS Word, ActiveDisclosure or Wdesk (Workiva),
 *preparing spreadsheets (Wdesk, Excel)
 *updating and reviewing Financial Statements, Notes to Financial Statements            and Managements Discussion and Analysis
 *conducting research as needed
 *do routine tie-out tasks
 *completing US GAAP Disclosure checklists for clients.
 *prepare monthly SBC expense reports (data source is Equity Edge)
 *checking Capitalized Software spreadsheets and journal entries in NetSuite

I also handle clients on their bookkeeping needs specifically real estate transactions (purchase, construction and selling) using QuickBooks online including preparation of full set of financial statements. Moreover, my experience in using Quick Books Online has expanded my learning. I am a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor. I am also a certified Xero Advisor.

Also, my 5-year experience as a retainer with a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) has exposed me to prepare monthly profit & loss reports and certain costing estimates and forecasts in food industry. 

For 2 years, I have taught as a part-time professor teaching Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Basic Finance in a premiere university in the country - Xavier Ateneo.

I am also adequately competent in basic Microsoft office applications.
