A nurse is a person who plays a virtual role in the lives of the patients. She is always beside the patients, ready to provide what they need. As a part of our profession, we have developed skills that are essential to the medical profession.
I am a warm, enthusiastic person who lives in the world of possibilities and can become very passionate and excited about things. This enthusiasm lends me the ability to inspire and motivate others especially my patients. I love life, and strive to make the most out of it. I have the amazing ability to intuitively perceived the truth about a person or situation, which is important in being a nurse. I have worked in hospital for over 2 years and have a lot of experience working with different kinds of patients.
I am also a very committed person, as a nurse you must be dedicated to your career because the lives of people is at stake. You must be adaptable, determined and always positive about any situations you encounter.
I also learned problem solving skills because you have to be resourceful and always anticipates problems and resolving them through planning. And most importantly is my communication skills ensuring you are understood by writing or speaking in a clear and articulate manner by the people around you.
As a nurse, you must exhibit self reliant/confident, you must be positive about your capabilities and responsibilities because the lives of the patients is always at stake.
