WORK BACKGROUND:
I have been working with a multinational manufacturing company for almost six years under supply chain operations department. Being in the customer service division allowed me to widen my network and deepen my skill set when it comes to logistics and operations.
Currently, i am working as a Business Development Specialists and among my key functions are the following:
- identify logistical efficiencies through projects such as On Shelf Availability, Inventory Records Accuracy program among others
- collaborates with the account and my sales counterparts to sustain efficient operations through alignments and joint scorecards
- conducts business reviews to sustain
growth of both the account and my current company
Prior to the aforementioned position,I was an order management specialist for almost three years handling distributor accounts. Part of my job scope in this position are the following:
- ensuring supply through efficient and effective management of all orders from PO generation, transition or events management until delivery
- effectively liaise and performs interface with sales counterrparts, distribution center personnel, and accounts for an efficient communication flow of regarding stock and delivery updates
- ensuring top customer service my providing timely feedback on queries and concerns raised by external and internal customers
- efficient management of distributor days cover to ensure liquid cash flow of accounts whilst sustaining product availability on-time all the time
- ensures minimization of non-quality costs through dispute management and delivery refusals reduction
- upholds on- time and accurate submission of reports for better communication flow
In my second job, I was exposed to warehousing operations as a Distribution, Resource and Planning Assistant. Among my key responsibilities include:
- ensuring efficient resupply of stocks through pallet space management vis-a-vis finish product delivery
- receiving area optimization through time management of incoming delivery trucks and delivery bay assignments
- analysis of critical stocks
