Ive created numerous affiliate wordpress site. Sample: http://www.nursepractitioner-salary.org/ Process involves initial niche research. Submitting new niche idea to the client.
Research keywords using longtailpro and marketsamurai. Looking for keywords with minimum exact monthly searches of 4000 and SEOTC of < than 300k.
Then find an available domain, register and install wordpress. Edit the theme, order articles, edit the meta tags, internal linking and do SEO. Manual and with the use of SEO tools.
The site still ranks for keywords like nurse practitioner salary, how to become a nurse practitioner after the penguin and the EMD update.
