I am proficient in various computer applications and software which include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, the Internet and such search engines and applications. As a Development Communication graduate, I'm expected to become good in interpersonal communication which I know is a plus factor when it comes to dealing with clients, employer, co-workers and establishing rapport. I can also do extensive data gathering for research, business presentations, and investigatory reports. Blogging, which was one of the training venues for us Development Communication students, is also my skill. I know basic photography which can be beneficial for seminar/workshop documentation. Also, I am well-versed in data entry, wordpress and cooledit pro. I can make travel itineraries and write product ads or descriptions. As a development assistant, my tasks include researching for marketing strategies, handling company accounts, organizing pre-opening projects, grand opening and product launching, organizing personal files of the employees as well as the employer, making business presentations, maintaining company directories and facility maintenance. I also do logistics tasks which are writing emails and answering calls from suppliers in China and Taiwan specifically for product concerns, business negotiations and product dealings, promotional items and product developments. It also includes connecting with brokers, courier/logistics/shipping companies for freight quotations, customs clearances and importation fees. I also handle my bosses personal accounts, pay all their insurances and card billings, organize their client meetings, writes letters on their behalf, and make their official and or business travel expenses and itineraries specifically hotel bookings and car services rentals.
In Marketing, I am trained to do proposals and conceptualize marketing and budget plans and optimize Social Media platforms for branding and advertising.
