Since 2001 I am a Teacher at Capiz National High School teaching Electricity and Electronics specialization on my first year of teaching under the Technology and Livelihood Education Department, later become an IT Teacher as the school offered School of the Future curriculum in 2002. Through experience I learned how to maintain the Computer Laboratory which includes PC Troubleshooting, Networking and the like aside from my teaching responsibility.
I used to teach PC Operation, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a little about Access), PC Troubleshooting and Maintenance, Photoshop, VB Programming and Website Development using html. I was also a consistent coach on IT related contest in PowerPoint Presentation and Web Design representing the school in the Division, Regional and National level of competition under the STEP Organization (abolished in 2011 now named Technolympics).
I was also designated as School IT Coordinator to encode school records database at http://121.58.236.72/beis/
During the time where internet is not so accessible in our locality I used to collect computer books, so I made my own library at home. I'd love to attend on IT related trainings as well.
In Feb 11, 2012; I've made our School Website available online! http://capiznhs.net I used joomla but not an expert on it.
