OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS: Run the day-to-day activities of the department by taking care of back-end operations• COMMUNICATE INDIVIDUAL SALES TARGETS & NEW PROMOTIONSInform selling team about individual sales targets, new offers & alert Category Merchandising Manager of product/promo problems• MANAGE INVENTORYTrack current stock levels plus pending deliveries vs. sales trend to alert Category Merchandising Managers of possible stockouts & slow-moving items• CHECK ITEMS FOR PULL-OUTInspect items for transfer or RTV to ensure correctness of product type & quantity, process in MMS & sign the required documents• MANAGE OPEXManage the operating budget of the department by ordering the right number of supplies, monitoring use & safekeeping extra items• ADMINISTER STAFFMonitor attendance of sales clerks & stock clerks & manage absences by re-assigning tasks to remaining staff (manage plantilla, leaves, issue violation reports)
