I started as a call center agent for a web travel account. My role was to assist clients with their travel plans and help them with any concerns. After that, I was promoted to Quality Assurance Analyst for a financial services account. My role was to screen the calls of our call center agents. I stayed in that role for almost 4 years. I was then promoted as a communication skills trainer and at the same time a product specifics trainer in the same financial services account. I stayed as their trainer for 3 years. I moved to the insurance industry and was a sales trainer for a little over three years. While I was employed in the call center, I also did a little bit of informal blogging as a hobby. I was a food blogger for a few months in 2013.
