Hi! I’m Jigger Mejia, an illustrator and designer with over 10 years of experience in traditional animation (Department Head and Checker) and 2+ years in digital illustration and apparel design.
I began my creative journey as a clean-up and in-between artist for studios like TOEI Animation and Philippine Animation Studios Inc., contributing to beloved titles such as One Piece and Biker Mice from Mars (REBOOT). This foundation in hand-drawn animation taught me precision, consistency, and the discipline needed for high-quality, frame-by-frame storytelling.
Today, I combine classical training with modern digital tools like Affinity V3 and Adobe Fresco, my preferred alternatives to the Adobe suite.
I specialize in:
• T-shirt and apparel design (vector-based, print-ready artwork)
• Custom illustrations for merchandise, web, and branding
• Clean-up, line art, and visual storytelling from an animator’s perspective
I’m also the creative mind behind Father & Daughter Creations, a small online business where I share my love for character design, dark-themed art, and handmade clay sculptures.
