I absolutely enjoy exploring opportunities that will allow me to broaden my learnings and experiences, tap into my creative side while still delivering quality results, and interacting with various people. I went to schools that have high regard for the English language. At a young age, I have been exposed to English through reading different books. My love for books fueled my love for the language. Later on, I began writing for our literary portfolio, newsletters and yearbook. I joined various press conferences and qualified until the regionals. I have medals in writing editorials, feature articles and news articles. I continued writing for our school publications until graduation. Aside from writing and editing, I was also exposed to public speaking. I joined debates that our school held internally. Most of the time, I was awarded Best Speaker. I was sent to various extemporaneous speaking contests inside and outside our school. I represented our batch at one speaking contest and won over the upperclassmen. I was then sent to division-wide contests, which I also won. Aside from formal public speaking, I was almost always asked to host school activities. I also took IELTS a couple of years back and got a high rating for all four (reading, writing, listening, speaking) test components.
My Marketing & Sales exposure was mostly on planning and data analysis and forecasting since I was high involved in Strategic Planning, business expansions, and order fulfillment in my previous job.
I learned HTML back in high school as it was part of our computer class. I was able to create a simple website through HTML. My experience for webpages stems from this, as well as maintaining Xanga and Multiply sites in the past. However, I've not been able to practice said skills in recent years though I am confident that I will be able to relearn these.
I taught myself how to use Adobe Photoshop a couple of years ago. I experimented using gradients, images, fonts, and brushes. I have not been using the program in recent years.
My previous full-time job entailed simple and complex financial analysis to actively drive the business as I was involved in various roles related to strategic business planning, operational planning, order fulfillment, investment planning, feasibility studies, top management business reporting including statutory reporting, and sales & operation planning (demand-supply balancing).
My first job was as an Administrative Assistant wherein some of my responsibilities were to handle our department's events (logistics, arrangements, etc), manage the Vice President's calendar and travels, and maintain primary databases. I eventually handled Order Fulfillment as my last role and worked closely with our Sales team and our Customer Service team to ensure smooth flow of Order to Delivery process (order management to order fulfillment).
