I have a good experience in terms of customer service. I’ve been a customer service representative for more than a year in Teletech and was a Supervisor for 3 years for the same company. Working in a BPO industry has helped me in a lot of ways.
I was able to meet different types of people where and also get to talk to people around the world. It helped me improve my conversational and conflict resolution skills. I was able to learn the proper tone and voice modulation, also how to pace my speech in order to make my customers fell at ease and comfortable. I was able to learn to identify customer’s concern and propose appropriate resolution in a quickest way. Another is perfecting the art of multitasking and time management. In a call center industry, everything is timed so I get to manage my time perfectly to get things done on time/ahead of time.
I worked using MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint and client tools. As a supervisor, I worked with minimal supervision from my Manager.
