My most recent work experience was with SolarWinds where I was hired as a Senior Renewals Account Executive. I was the main point of contact for all renewal-related inquiries from C-level executives, partners, distributors, and internal sales teams. In this role, I created and developed targeted prospect lists through account research, teamed with counterparts in customer success, partner relationships, and solutions consulting, to maintain good relationships with customers and develop account plans. I was in charge of the renewal process from start to finish, including license evaluations, scheduling/hosting calls with Sales Engineers, providing quotes, negotiating renewal terms, possible discounts, and pushbacks on non-renewals. I also handled upselling from on-prem individual licenses to Cloud-based, subscription-type licenses and eventually ranked Top Seller for the new Hybrid Cloud Observability in Q4 of 2022.
Before SolarWinds, I worked as a Project Manager for an Interior design company in California for eight years, where I mainly communicated with all of our clients making sure they were well informed of the progress of the project and making sure deadlines were met. Almost 70% of our clients are return clients opening a second or third store or their referrals as they are very satisfied with our services and confident about our project management and delivery. This is also where I learned to create 3D models using 3D SketchUp.
I have spent almost three years working for a Registered Training Organization and was responsible for providing support to Diploma and Certificate course students taking up Business Administration and Frontline Management. I handled coaching and counseling sessions as well as evaluations. I helped analyze students' learning behavior and provided recommendations for improvement. I touch base with the students regularly, making sure they are well informed about their progress and areas for improvement. I also make sure they meet their module deadlines, answer questions, and offer assistance when needed.
I have been in the customer service industry for over a decade, and this experience helped me become an expert at communicating with different types of people with different cultural backgrounds. I am adept at handling complaints, and I have excellent problem-solving skills.
