I worked as a SEO Expert for more than two years that focuses in link building and social media marketing. Back linking has evolved since the latest Google's Panda and Penguin updates. These days, quantity is no longer the name of the game; it is the quality that counts a lot. Google is now focused on how the back links are created and where the links can be found. To make it simple, links should be built not to appear as spam and they should be put to high quality and authoritative sites (.edu, .gov). Quality site can be determined through its Page Rank, Domain Authority as well as Trust Authority.
Image&Video; Submission:
Diversity of links are also honored by Google. I implemented this strategy not only for back linking but also in gaining traffic by sharing images and videos to various photo and video sharing sites. It is a bit interesting since creativity and social interaction are best employed in this tasks to promote the website.
Reverse Engineering:
This task is primarily done by determining competitor's backlinks and putting links on various sites found for an additional and purposeful backlinking effort.
Content Writing:
Content writing works best in blogging and article marketing. Here, information about the website and the product and services it provides are being put into interesting ideas. Links can also be incorporated with this strategy while promoting what the website intends to address to its target customers.
Local Listing:
It features information of the website including the contacts, addresses, and descriptions. These are searchable lists that are focused on the target local customers.
Social Media Marketing:
I managed various social media accounts including Facbook, Twitter, Pinterest, Diigo, Stumbleupon and etc. These helped a lot in getting traffic and lead generation.
