Profile Description

Working in the development field for seven years, I have been involved in organizations as communications specialist and other related fields such as policy research, advocacy, and media affairs. All of these key competencies require a considerable efficiency and fluency in the English language. In my recent previous position, communication is a key component particularly interpersonal communication since I am part of a team that provides technical assistance to partners. A great deal of writing is demanded as we write plans, articles, and reports that are submitted and read by international audience. In the previous jobs before that, my main function is writing news articles in journalistic format, feature stories, reports, even scripts for radio and TV broadcast. I also develop concept papers for activities or projects. I also develop policy papers that require extensive research
and analysis of issues. Apart from my professional background, I also had a brief stint (4 issues), writing business and travel articles for a lifestyle magazine with national circulation. I have also worked on blogs (blogspot, tumblr) but mainly as an online journal.
