I have been part of a company as a Medical Transcriptionist where my job was to listen to audio files of clinic notes sent by doctors in the US. With this training, I was able to work with different accents like American, and British, Australian accents as well.
I am currently working part time as a Legal/Medical Transcriptionist for more than a year. Also, I cam currently working part time as a General Transcriptionist for a company for almost a year.
I am well-competent in typing (typing speed of 60 wpm on the average), editing and proofreading my own work.
Also, I am proficient in Microsoft Office, focusing more on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; have excellent command of the English language; and have good manipulation of the Internet.
I am a fast learner, decisive, committed, able to work with less supervision, keen to detail, able to follow instructions and can turn around files in a timely manner.
