Profile Description

Some may disparagingly call those of my ilk as "NEETs", or perpetual freeloaders, but my desire for stay-at-home income generation does not mean I am without skills, or lack the desire to make the most out of said abilities. I have extensive experience in pen-and-paper artworks, and other mediums like charchoal and chalk/oil pastel painting. Most of my style translates well into Comic book type art, though I am equally as comfortable with the more conventional styles. I already have a scanner at home, so art submissions should not be a problem. My Photoshop skills are average.
Though I am a computer science graduate with a familiarity in Visual Basic and C++, Such skills have not been exercised for more than half a decade.
A long love affair with books, with a preference for fiction, allows me to finish one of two sci-fi or fantasy works in a single day. As an avid supporter of the Video game industry, I can write reviews and articles of the media I've recently encountered, especially if they have evoked strong emotions within me, positive or otherwise.
One caveat is that I tend to stay away from the powder-keg topics of Politics and religion.
I would much prefer a job where I can exercise my creative muse, such as the writing of reviews and summaries of books and the critique of games and technology. I would not, however, consider my command of English grammar as flawless, merely good enough.
I would love a job where line art or logo design is in demand. I must confess, though, that my recent style is heavily influenced by current anime trends.
