Good day Sir/Ma'am,
I am 25 years old and a BS-Psychology graduate from University of San Carlos-Cebu City.I had my first job last July 2009 as a travel specialist in a call center company, Aegis PeopleSupport. The account I chose was Expedia.com. For the first year, I handled calls of clients whose travel itineraries or schedules were disrupted due to accidents and incidents either man-made or by nature. I was responsible for booking, changing and cancelling reservations of Expedia clients. I provide flight and hotel information of travelers such as the airline counter to check-in and their itinerary. I answer passengers' questions about flights, aircraft, weather, travel routes and services, arrival times, and schedules. On my 2nd year as a senior travel specialist, I receive escalations from agents with irate callers and try to come up with solutions which will benefit the clients when it comes to their travel itineraries. If there is a need, I helped rebook flights for passengers with flight misconnections due to airline schedule change. I also coordinate with Expedia vendors for guests’ accommodations especially for missing or no reservations when it comes to their
hotel or plane reservations. I also assist airlines reissue plane tickets for customers whether pre-travel and enroute. I also coordinate with Expedia’s corporate office for authorizations and use decision matrix if needed.
