I have worked with several BPO companies here in Cebu. I started as a Technical Representative for a Smartphone Company base on US. Main job description is to assist product customers with certain issues such as Phone applications, phone connectivity and other services. Then, shifted to a Credit Card Company as a Customer Service Representative. Assisting current and new credit card owners, with their credit card concerns such as Balances, Annual Percentage Rate, record and report fraudulent credit card transactions. After a while, I decided to try another field and that is Outbound-Telemarketing. We do appointment setting by calling random telephone numbers from all parts of United Kingdom. The appointment is for a French porcelain collection gallery auction, we convince people to attend this free auction whether your a porcelain collector or not. This project lasted for almost a year, client decided to stop doing the telemarketing scheme. And so, I looked for another job and luckily was hired as a Title Submission Coordinator in Xlibris Inc. This company is a print-on-demand book publishing. My main job description is to provide all online bookstores the information of all the books that will be published. Then, we upload the files to the printing facility in US. I do not take calls, but most of the time it is more on Email base inquiry concerning the book orders, shipment, corrections, and other information. Apart from all of these work experiences I have been expose to Export/Import & Offset printing jobs as well.
But when my friends informed me about Home-Based jobs, I said to myself that this might be a perfect job for me. Not only that you are working at home but still earning money equal to what you are earning when working in a company. Also, what I like about home base is that you are the manager and employee of your own time.
