As a web developer, I gather and define requirements, maintain websites, troubleshoot and fix bugs, follow best practices and collaborate with other tea ---------- mbers or freelancers if needed. As a web designer, I craft the layout, visual appearance, and usability of a website. I am able to visualize how a site will look like the graphical design of the site and how it will function, including the conversion of a design into a working website.
In a fast-moving industry like ours, I always aim to stay on top of my game. That means that I never stop learning. Technologies change just as fast as trends, and what’s common practice now might already be outdated in a few years. Hence, I have to stay ahead of the curve and continue learning new technologies and programming languages and also keeping an eye on what customers want (and need) in order to stay satisfied.
I have been complimented on my creative flair intertwined with my common sense. Even though I work independently, I will frequently confer with my clients to be sure we are both on the same wavelength, adhering to the path and expectations set for me. I know communication is key in developing the vision of my client.
