In my experience as a technical support agent, we were constantly monitored by our Quality Analyst based on the accuracy and efficiency of our performance. I would say that at times I have not only done a good job by meeting the standards but also exceeding it which is why I have been constantly on the top of our
team. I have been awarded as a Top Agent many times which is based on perfect attendance, accuracy and efficiency of performance.
Doing a good job is not only based on ones output and meeting the standards set by the company. Sometimes, it is also based on how one executed and performed the necessary steps to finish the job. Even if the expected output may not be attained all of the time because of circumstances that are beyond our control, We can still define it as a good job because of the process and actions that had been done in order to attain it. I would say that it is better to have worked hard and failed than to have succeeded but only giving a mediocre performance.
