Assigned in Medical Ward, Surgery Ward, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Delivery Room, Emergency Room and NICU with the following Job Descriptions:
• Identify and assess the problem including vital signs of the patient and nursing intervention as needed.
• Assist interpretation and implementation of hospital policies and objectives of general patient’s care and elderly care.
• Renders quality care in relation to the independent and dependent action
• Makes nursing rounds on all patients after endorsement
• Check, prepares and administers medication per route as ordered, observe the patient’s rights before and after giving medication.
• Accompanies and assist Physicians in making rounds and carries out Doctor’s order accurately and promptly
• Respect the dignity and confidential matters about the patient and serve as an advocate
• Provides emotional and spiritual support to patient
• Give accurate and detailed health teaching to patient and relatives
• Prepares patient physically for treatment, operation and diagnostic studies
Special Skills:
• Able to manipulate mathematical operations and calculations easily.
• Knowledgeable in Windows applications and Internet literacy.
• Has sufficient communicative skills
