I was eleven years old when I made my first ever article as part of the screening for our school paper. Since then, I haven't stopped writing. I have joined annual writing workshops/seminars/contests and consistently represented our school in inter school journalism tilts usually under the feature writing category. I wrote articles for our school papers and even became the editor for our Filipino tabloid in high school. Ninety percent of the co-curricular awards I've received are for writing and I graduated from elementary, high school, and college with medals for campus journalism. The most recent award I received (Best Blogger Award, 2nd PIA/SMART Campus Blog Site Contest) came as a surprise months before I graduated from Nursing school.
I also started blogging when I was in high school. I have an idea of how blogging sites such as Live Journal, Wordpress, Multiply work but I am more familiar with Blogger and Tumblr since I have existing accounts there. I know my way around MS Word and speedy typing is not a problem for me.
Though I do not have any experience of writing for any company yet considering that I have just graduated this March 2012, I am determined to learn how that is done and, with the writing skills and the attitude I have to back me up, I am certain that I could deliver quality work that will very much suit your company's needs.
