Profile Description

I love to write. I remember being nine or ten when I first started writing, and novels at that. They weren’t original stories; they were instead an inspiration of the books I have read. And although I would usually stop at Chapter 3—it wouldn’t be long before I would once again be seized by a new idea, a new villain, a new twist.
I continued my love for writing by studying development communication (major in development journalism) in one of the top universities in the Philippines—the University of the Philippines (Los Baños). After graduation, I entered a multinational company as a corporate communication associate. I was heavily involved in the writing, editing, and proofreading of our company’s official publications and other communication materials such as brochures, pamphlets, flyers, booklets, multimedia programs, promotional videos and other product communications.
My job broadened to all things related to the vision communication activities of the company. Aside from being promoted to editor-in-chief, I delved into marketing, brand awareness activities, and was involved in the planning and execution of different communication campaigns. I also became the head of the Corporate Communication Section. I was also assigned to plan and implement different events, from internal (for our stakeholders such as conferences, seminars) to external (for our clients and the public such as public seminars, road shows, exhibits).
My academic background and work experience developed my ability to lead and manage a team, my keen eye for details, my organizational and planning skills, and my ability to work with tight deadlines.
I am a very positive person, always willing to take on challenges. I have excellent command of the English language and I possess strong communication skills. I am diligent, honest, and goal-oriented; a fast learner, dedicated and takes pride on a job well done.
