My Amazon Guy is seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various financial processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and develop a team.

Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct detailed audits of recurring invoices and contracts to identify errors, ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements, and mitigate risks.
-Verify and process customer payments, update records, send reminders for outstanding payments, and coordinate follow-ups on overdue accounts.
-Manage tax accounts by opening, updating, and closing them as required, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines. File taxes accurately and on time, handle communications from tax authorities, and make tax payments according to liabilities.
-Audit financial transactions recorded in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for accuracy and compliance. Conduct periodic audits of HubSpot data to ensure data integrity and implement corrective measures for discrepancies.
-Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
-Oversee and improve refund request protocols to ensure compliance and minimize errors.
-Verify amounts charged to the MAG account for accuracy, validity, and prevent overcharging.
-Monitor subscription statuses and usage to ensure effective utilization, optimize expenses, and negotiate terms for maximum value.
-Assist in monitoring and managing cash flow, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring operational fund sufficiency.
-Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and utilize Google Spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting. Address stakeholder inquiries professionally and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in financial management, auditing, and compliance.
-Strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting standards.
-Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Google Spreadsheets.
-Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
