Tagalog Transcriber Application Reviewer

Align Turn is looking for fluent Tagalog and English speakers to help review applications from candidates applying to become Tagalog audio transcribers.

Over the course of this project, you will have the opportunity to earn up to $200 USD in compensation. This is a very lightweight, remote, asynchronous role. The activity should take no more than 10-15 minutes per day and may last 1-2 months.

What You’ll Do:

- Review applications from Tagalog transcriber candidates
- Assess candidates’ Tagalog fluency, written ability, and relevant language experience
- Look for experience with transcription, translation, localization, or similar language work
- Evaluate whether candidates are likely to handle natural Tagalog speech, slang, regional variation, and English-Tagalog code-switching
- Flag strong candidates, weak candidates, and applications that may need further review
- Follow a simple review rubric and make consistent decisions

What We’re Looking For:

- Tagalog must be your native language
- People who are super picky related to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to read and write both Tagalog and English at a highly proficient level
- Good judgment and strong attention to detail
- Reliable communication
- Ability to work independently
- Prior experience in transcription, translation, recruiting, QA, or annotation is a plus


Payment:

- $10 for every 200 applications reviewed
- Up to $200 total over the course of the project
- Payments are sent through ---------- on a weekly basis, depending on the number of applications reviewed that week
