JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a calm, organized Operations Manager to run the full day-to-day operations of Snappy Landscaping.

The owner’s only responsibility is to go to estimates and quote jobs.
Everything else is handled by you.

This is a long-term role for someone who is comfortable owning operations independently within clear rules and systems.

Working schedule
• Your working hours must be based on U.S. Eastern Time business hours
• You must be available to handle customer calls and messages during U.S. business hours
• Night-shift candidates are welcome
(Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview.)

What you will own
• All customer communication (phone calls, texts, emails, complaints, callbacks)
• Scheduling and rescheduling estimates and jobs
• Preparing and sending estimates after site visits
• Invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-ups on unpaid invoices
• Recording all customer interactions in the CRM
• Ensuring all calls are recorded and properly logged

You will be the single point of contact for customers.

How decisions work
• Pricing and processes are rule-based (no guessing or improvising)
• You handle routine issues independently
• The owner is contacted only for true emergencies
(serious injury, lawsuit, insurance claim, police involvement, or fraud)

This role is a good fit if you
• Have strong spoken and written English
• Are comfortable speaking with customers on the phone
• Stay calm and professional with complaints or difficult situations
• Prefer clear rules, structure, and accountability
• Can make decisions without constant approval
• Want a stable, long-term role with ownership responsibility

Pay & commitment
• $1,200 – $1,600 USD per month
• 20–30 hours per week to start
• Remote, long-term position

To apply (required)

Please include all of the following:
1. A brief description of your experience handling customer communication and business operations
2. Written answer to this scenario:
A customer questions a mowing price you quoted based on lawn size. What do you do and what do you say?
3. A short voice recording (30–60 seconds) reading:
“Thank you for calling Snappy Landscaping. How can I help you today?”

Applications missing any of the above will not be considered.
