Scheduler Assistant Responsibilities
The Scheduler Assistant’s primary responsibility will be to support the Scheduler through the monitoring of permits and final inspections. Weekly duties include pulling new jobs, ensuring current jobs have permits, and tracking final inspection statuses. Consistent communication skills are a must.
Weekly Duties
Pull approved jobs (via Acculynx reports).
Apply appropriate process to approved jobs based on trade types. (“The Process”).
Send new jobs to suppliers and confirm delivery dates with homeowners.
Daily reminder texts and/or phone calls to homeowners with next-day installations.
Permits
Obtain permits in correct jurisdictions for all approved jobs (jobs that need permits).
Pay and save permits to appropriate job file locations.
Final Inspections
Monitor and schedule project final inspections, including scheduling inspections, scheduling appropriate staff to set ladders, updating homeowners, and all other aspects of final inspections.
