JOB OVERVIEW

Upper Left Association Management is a growing homeowners association (HOA) management company based in Washington State. We manage multiple homeowner and condominium associations and are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative & Operations Assistant to support daily operations.

This is a long-term opportunity with room for growth. We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, professional, and capable of working independently.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drafting and responding to emails
• Following up with homeowners, board members, and vendors
• Data entry and record management
• Updating spreadsheets and homeowner records
• Organizing digital files and documents
• Assisting with meeting notices, letters, and reports
• Tracking tasks and follow-up items
• Assisting with collections and violation tracking
• Supporting administrative and operational projects as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Professional communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and computer
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Administrative experience preferred
• Property management experience is a plus but not required

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is resourceful and proactive. If you encounter a problem, we expect you to make a reasonable effort to find an answer or propose a solution before asking for help. Training and support will be provided, but the ideal candidate enjoys figuring things out, taking ownership of their work, and continuously improving processes.

We appreciate team members who identify opportunities for improvement, suggest solutions, and take ownership of their work.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued member of our team, not someone who is simply looking to complete tasks.

Hours & Compensation:

• Part-time position starting at 10–15 hours per week
• Compensation: $7–$12 USD per hour depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit
• This is an hourly position and TimeProof will be used for time tracking
• Performance reviews will be conducted after 30 days and 90 days
• Additional hours, responsibilities, and compensation may be available based on performance and company growth
• Opportunity to grow into a larger role as the company continues to expand

How to Apply:

Please submit the following:

1. Your resume
2. Your desired hourly rate (USD)
3. A brief introduction about yourself, including why this position interests you
4. A screenshot of your internet speed test
5. Your typical availability in Pacific Time
6. A short description of your administrative experience
7. Tell me about a mistake you made at work and how you handled it.

9. Are you currently working with any long-term clients? If so, how many clients do you currently support, how long have you worked with them, and approximately how many hours per week do you dedicate to each?
10. How many total hours per week are you currently committed to other clients or employment?

We are not necessarily looking for someone with HOA experience. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, communicates professionally, takes initiative, and enjoys solving problems.
